This is a birth that I was a doula at in 2007 in Asheville, NC.  The family allowed me to put these pictures on my website.  I was able to take over 70 pictures of the birth including: cutting of the cord, the baby being held by mom minutes after birth, the first breastfeeding, being weighed, being held by Grandmothers, Aunts, glimpsed at by a nephew, and even Dad changing his first poopy diaper!
